A wider than average timber arch that is constructed from chunky 40x70mm timbers which will ensure a really sturdy installation.

The lattice side panels will be great for climbing plants as will the flat top section with its five rafter design.
The maximum width between the posts is 1.5 metres (~5 feet) which is really handy for spanning a garden path with ease.
If you'd prefer a narrower opening and a wider overhang then it is possible to fix the side panels to achieve this, as detailed in the instructions - (where side posts C connect to the top rail A).
If you like the design but can't quite find the budget for this one, you should know that the Colwyn arch is identical except for somewhat thinner timbers for the main frame (40x45cm).
This arch comes with a ten year guarantee against rot and it is constructed from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified timber.
